MILLENNIUM View

The Blackstream Millennium View was derived from our founders view that companies should be built like living organisms who are actively seeking to survive, adapt and multiply in the marketplace. Companies are dying at the fastest rate in recorded history. The average lifespan of a Fortune 500 company has dropped from 75 years to 15 years before it ceases to exist in its current form if at all. We believe this is happening because companies have stopped operating in a healthy manner. This makes them more prone to successful attack my competitors, fines from governmental regulators and less loyalty from their workers.

The Millennium View is focused on cultivating durable companies with lifespans of a millennium or more. We believe durable companies have six core centers: business model, culture, thinking, adaptation, survival and customer focused. These cores work in unison to achieve sustained and durable growth irrespective of the market conditions.
